Water Main Damaged - BOIL ADVISORY ISSUED
A main water line has been damaged by the gas company installing the new natural gas lines along KK. Anyone on the KK water supply that comes from the Resort well is effected, including Tan-Tar-A Estates and Resort and Oak Creek. Our crew has made the repairs, but the water needs to be sent for testing to ensure that it is consumable without boiling.
Tan-Tar-A Resort, Tan-Tar-A Estates and Oak Creek are under a Boil Order Advisory in effect from January 12, 2013 until further notice.
BOIL ALL DRINKING WATER
Your public water system is under a voluntary boil water advisory. You may need to take the following precautions:
1. Boil water vigorously for three minutes prior to use. Use only boiled water for drinking, brushing teeth, diluting fruit juices and all other food preparations or consumption. Use of bottled water may be a feasible, though relatively expensive, alternative to boiling tap water when under a boil water order.
2. Do not use ice from a household automatic icemaker or use any ice made with unboiled water from this system. Remake ice cubes with water that has been boiled or buy ice.
3. Disinfect dishes and other food contact surfaces by immersion for at least one minute in clean tap water that contains one teaspoon of unscented household bleach per gallon of water.
4. LET WATER COOL SUFFICIENTLY BEFORE DRINKING.
Water used for hand-washing or bathing does not generally need to be boiled. Supervision of children is necessary while bathing or using backyard pools so water is not ingested. Persons with cuts or severe rashes may wish to consult their physicians.
We will keep you updated and we will post another notice as soon as the water has been tested and the boil advisory is lifted. We apologize for your inconvenience.

It is Small Business Saturday!
It is Small Business Saturday!
Between Black Friday and Cyber Monday is another day, one dedicated to the businesses that boost the economy and invigorate neighborhoods across the country. It is the day to support your favorite small, local businesses. Stores, restaurants, the small proprietors of all sorts.
Have you ever seen a business close and say to yourself, "Aw, darn, I liked that place." You can do something to help ... show your support, stop in, say hello, buy a little something (or big something ;-) ) its your purchases that keep your favorite small businesses around.
Together, we can make this the biggest day of the year for small business.
We would love to know your favorite small businesses and especially where you are shopping small today!
